Great location and so many activities to do! Yosemite Valley Lodge bar restaurant and facilities could definitely use some improvements or a face lift but you don’t come here for the hotels. You come for Yosemite wildlife!

Upstairs had large ceilings with fan. The hotel does not have AC but they provided two fans along with the ceiling fan. We asked for an upstairs room kept the windows open and it was cool in no time. The room was spacious and clean. It was great to get up in the morning and watch the sun move into the valley. I went to the meadow nearby and stood there in awe. The front staff was polite and we had no issues.
