We booked a SUV for our Alaska trip. Picked our car from Anchorage airport and subsequently with in a day it developed mechanical problems. As we were close to whittier, we went to local Avis to swap it out based on suggestion from Avis roadside assistance. But the person in Whittier office refused to help saying internet is down and said it is unlikely that he can help that day. My whole day got wasted because he didn't swap even though I had paperwork. I am writing this only to give you heads up that when you are in trouble then dont expect help from this guy here.
