Dennis and his team procured two mortgages for us. I don't typically write google reviews but felt compelled to in this case. The positive -- the mortgages were approved by the date of closing. The negatives -- both mortgages were with banks in the southern US with no branches closer than North Carolina (we live in Pennsylvania). The secondary mortgage was INTEREST ONLY, meaning that every payment I made was applied only to interest, zero to principal. This was not disclosed to me verbally and I didn't notice it until I looked at my statement several months later and found that of the thousands of $$ I paid into it, nothing was applied to principal and the balance of the mortgage was not reduced. I immediately re-financed with another bank, did this myself and it was far easier than procuring the initial loan. The primary mortgage was adjustable rate, not fixed. I don't believe this was disclosed either. The obscure interest only loan was completely ridiculous and should have been disclosed verbally, cost me thousands of $$ and I had to correct it myself. The mortgages were procured in 2016; I would have entered a review sooner but wasn't fully aware of the issues in these mortgages until recently. Bottom line, make sure you know what you're getting.
