My husband and I recently closed on a house with Bakerfield Custom homes and have since received 3 liens. This problem is much larger than I care to discuss on google reviews, however, the majority of this builders' closings are done through Capstone and we are not alone in receiving these liens. Bakerfield has been doing business with Capstone for awhile and we feel this title company didn't do what it was paid to do. We received liens shortly after closing. I understand that it can happen but after digging through pasco county records we've found over 400,000 dollars worth of liens against Bakerfield. Tell me why a title company would do business with such a builder?? We consider this lesson learned and are paying for it double but would like to keep others eyes open. Don't make the same mistake we did. Do your homework.
