West End High school is a fairly small school. Over the years it's been talked about both negative and positively. The students and teachers according to the last state review I read, it was one of the top high schools in Northeast Alabama.

Great school if you're white and on the very limited sports teams. The school where the sports budget is more important then new books and providing a superior education. Not to mention the faculty allows religious views to dictate the way the school is operated.
