Everyday leading up to our closing I was asked to deliver more documents, resend those documents, a letter from my place of work assuring I was moving with my job in tact, to get notary noted documents, and to find my own POA all in a matter of a week before closing. The experience became a massive distraction and continues even after the closing because when I flew from New York the day before I was heading out for a work trip I was told on site that I needed an original document and then was forced to do a quit deed in order to proceed. The expectation set at that point was that I would only need to visit the office and sign another document. TODAY I learned that will cost another $150. STAY CLEAR and AWAY from Home Lending Services. They are operating a very disorganized and unprofessional business that puts the buyer at high risk of a heart attack from unnecessary stresses that any professional in the business would have resolved. No one should experience this level of incompetency when starting a new journey to a new home in a new state and city.
