The last phone call I made was to find out the status of our recast, as I was concerned that the time frame of 2 months was not very positive for us. I explained that NewRez had our money that we put into to paying down the principal and we were left without the ability to earn interest on that money. The representative was very informative and reassured me that the new P&I had been calculated and she told us the number and that a letter had gone out explaining that. That was a very reassuring conversation
