My experience with Homestead was pretty good. My lending officer was attentive and helped me gather everything I needed to complete the transaction. The only reason I’m not giving them five stars is because of their association with Vincent Markowski, a real estate attorney. This gentleman is hotheaded, lazy, and will treat you with complete disrespect despite being his client. I am in the business and I’ve asked a few attorneys if they knew of Markowski. Nope, never heard of him. Big surprise, another better call Saul fly by night. And I’m not the only one to have this experience with this jerk, my brother-in-law also went through Vincent and had similar issues. If you finance with Homestead, or any other finance intuition that tries to pair you up with Markowski, demand another attorney or run for the hills. I’ve already warned Homestead of this, but it appears they still do business with him.
