CTC provided me with a competitive rate in the end after shopping around for my mortgage. They offer a distinct advantage over others when dealing with related parties (i.e., the builder and the title co). Before you make the final decision, have CTC provide a counter-offer. It may be worth your while.

We were not able to sell our old home prior to closing on the Cresswind home but wanted to roll over much of the proceeds from it into the new mortgage. John showed us how we could do that after closing without refinancing so that we could adjust/lower our monthly payment after the fact. We really appreciated that info and it worked out great.
