Our experience has been nothing but a cluster with Land Home Financial. While this is our first home buying experience, and we did buy through a family member so we were a "special case", it has been unorganized, difficult, and frustrating. From running our credit scores way more than necessary (which really messed with our scores), to asking repeatedly for the same documents, paperwork, random files, etc. it has been a huge headache. Now, nearly 3 months after signing, we're still getting emails about paperwork that was messed up when we closed that we now need to resign and resubmit. While most of the staff we've worked with has been pleasant and kind, it doesn't make up for the disorganization and just general difficulty of this process.

Earl has made the mortgage process a nightmare. ...kept running my credit unnecessarily, lowering my score... informed me at the last minute about cash reserve.. i produced cash reserve...then he tells me it had to be in my account at least 3 months .. my credit score was over 735 and earl wanted me to bring $8000 to the closing ...i told him that's too much...with my score I'm not bringing any money to the closing ... he deliberately sabotaged the deal...
