This is a great park to visit to learn some history about the fort and the Pony Express. The museum is small, but nice. I really enjoy waking around the ruins and taking in the atmosphere. There are lovely views here.

This was a one night stop on our way to Idaho so our expectations weren’t high. We were totally surprised! The camp was clean, near a river and walking through the fort remains was so much fun! Great stop for the family!
