We've stayed here a handful of times over the years and this past weekend was the most disappointing stay we've had. So many "little" problems that just shouldn't be happening at a place at this price point. When I went to give my children a bath the lever to make it come out of the bath rather than the shower was broken, so it leaked out of the shower head the whole time, splattering me as I tried to wash the kids. Why didn't I just turn off the water so I didn't get wet? Oh yeah, because the drain was broken too, and the water could not be held in the tub. Very annoying. Even more annoying was that I packed a large container of homemade chicken salad for my family, put it in the fridge promptly upon arrival, and the next day when I went to retrieve it realized that it was only cool, not *cold.* I ended up throwing it away, because who wants to risk food poisoning over some mayo that's been sitting at 50 degrees? These are all things you might just roll your eyes at if it's an $85 a night hotel, but at what we paid it really just pissed me off. Even our door would not open and shut properly. It stuck and had to have a hard shoulder in to it. The only reason I gave three stars rather than 1 or 2 is because all the people we came across, from front desk, to housekeeping, to restaurant servers, were all very nice and helpful. Unfortunately we'll probably never stay here again though, which stinks because it really has great potential. I do wish they would use some of those profits to maintain the rooms.

Stayed for 2 nights for a conference last month. My room was very nice. A wine festival was going on, so there were a lot of very drunk people who were ping ponging off the narrow hallways. The place is huge, so there was a lot of walking involved. The elevator service was slow. One door came shut on me when entering the elevator and slammed into me pretty hard. They need to have the elevators inspected. The desk staff was top notch. When I told them I was handicapped, they comped me for valet parking and gave me $50 towards the restaurants. The food was good although service was strained by the number of people in attendance at drunk fest. I would definitely consider returning during a time when it is a bit quieter.
