    Okay. This is not a lake you swim in, its toxic. Do your research. Read the history of the “sea” and how it came to be. INTERESTING. I will say its an intriguing visit. It is desolate, there are sections of beautiful abandoned life. Just read the history of the Salton Sea “it is what it is”. The photos on the reviews look accurate.

    Liked the area. Had it's stinky moments but for the most part, wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. Super interesting area. Desolate. A lot of camping areas were closed though, for repairs. Will check back in a couple months.
