Homestar of Winder is a complete mess. Unorganized and dysfunctional. We went though the entire home buying process with them for a few months. Gave them everything they requested. Then 10 days before closing inform us that we cannot purchase a house. As a result we lost the house we were living in at the time since we did not renew the lease. Leaving my family now living with relatives. We spent thousands looking for homes and on inspections for several homes with only an offer from Homestar to reimburse the appraisal on one home if we didn't sue. Spoke to other mortgage companies after this and they said there was no way we could buy right now. So they lied up front and just tried to make it happen along the way. STAY AWAY from HOMESTAR!!!!
