Such a serene place to stay. The views are breathtaking and the personalized customer experience is unmatched. We rent most of the rooms (and rambunctiousness ensues) for Pirate weekend, but you should definitely check in the rest of the year. Rob always remembers the guests and creates a homey experience. Way off the beaten path, but completely worth supporting this adorable small town and multi-generational inn for peace, quiet, and bay. Docks are also rented.

This place COULD be so amazing! However, the “inn keeper” is a miserable person who makes zero attempt to do his job- must be the owners relative- only possible explanation for his presence. At arrival we said hello- how are you and he went on to tell us how much he hates it here, hates rock hall and everyone here. Obviously he was seeking attention so we didnt bite and just moved on with our day.... or attempted to. All the bikes, every single one, had flat tires and the trolley driver was in a fit bc he had a few people calling for rides. So we missed the fire works bc our only way to see them was to walk up the street and see them thru the trees. So okay there are worst things that could happen. We went back to the room and realized we had no toilet paper. The room next store was wide open and unoccupied so we grabbed some TP from there and told old grumpy we were grabbing it bc we had none. He told us it would cost us another 200 a night if we went in there again... AGAIN we ignored his attention seeking behavior and moved on. Once in the room again we started sweating bc there was no A/C in the actual room just in the common area. We decided to call mr grumpy for the first time to check on it bc it was 90 degrees outside. He told us the thermostat was set for 70 and we had to deal with it bc we had no vents in our room. We expected to rough it a bit but this was beyond that. Live and learn. Gave it 2 stars bc the property is beautiful with amazing views.
