Banking here feels like a joke. I’ve had employees at the drive up ask what I want done with deposits that have a deposit slip and a post it to explain where I want it deposited. I have two accounts, a personal and a business account, and I’ve had money moved from the wrong account to cover checks. Like, why do we even have account NUMBERS if you’re incapable of matching the numbers to the account, but only the name? This year, they started an overdraft protection fee and (with $50 in checking) I went and spent less than $3 at the grocery store with my debit card. They transferred $25 from my savings and charged me a dollar to overdraft protect because of a $3 purchase that my checking could totally cover. Then, I had go open a credit card, and I gave them the information for my personal account which I needed the card connect to. She connected it to the other account. Then, when I had to call and get it fixed, she called me back and I had to get a new card to fix the error. She told me any teller could do it, but they couldn’t. She had to do it, and I didn’t even get an apology for the mistake she made in connecting the card to the wrong account. In fact, it felt as if she blamed me. I don’t see the purpose of bank account NUMBERS at Westmark, because clearly they don’t bother to use them here. If I had another option, I would go elsewhere and I do not recommend them.

The staff is great to work with and they are a complete banking solution. They have great rates on auto, rv's and home loans. They work well with my elderly mother and her issues.
