CenterState Bank is by far the worst institute I've ever had to deal with. Charter Bank was focused on streamlined service dedicated to the customer, but once CenterState took over all that went out the window. No more real-time instant deposits via the app, nothing but issues with our debt cards working since the take over. We are actually closing our accounts and joining a new bank, unfortunately we now have to redo all our direct deposit information with our employees but that minor headache is still better than dealing with a bank who has no concept of customer service.

Bad, bad, bad merger!!!! Screw the customers agenda it’s about them not you. We were customers of Charter Banker long before it became this CenterState bank. And CenterState bank sucks! They’ve changed far too many things that made Charter bank the premier bank in the Milton/Pace Florida area. As Charter bank we had amazing customer experiences with the wonder staff that CHARTER had not CenterState. We had deposits preview where we could see our depending deposit coming (peace of mind) and knew we could count on it. We NEVER had to jump through hoops (like we do now) to aim access to our funds..... must fill out a check to ourselves sign it, indorse in and than cash it. RIDICULOUS!!! Try just try and talk to some at the branch through the phone number..... nope VM and maybe a call back by the next day if you’re lucky. We are actively shopping for a new banking facility. Will never use credit unions.
