This is in response to Voiceof Ellegance review regarding how we handled ourselves during her transaction. Calling me dishonest and a liar is completely unacceptable. I took over the file when our Loan Officer unfortunately over-promised and under-delivered. I personally took over the file to make sure it got the right attention it needed, but in this case the appraiser took 3 weeks to get back to us, something we had no control of. I always told you I would be up-front with you regarding everything, which I did. And here is the email I sent you regarding reimbursement, which was to provide you with a check of $585 and I did. I never promised all hotel expenses to be covered, but promised you that $585 back. And there were never any emails you can provide which showed I promised you that. I had everything in writing and went over all my emails with you to make sure I did not miss this. Here is the email I sent you "Virgel, I do not see us closing Friday at this point. I will tell you this though, that I will personally make sure you get reimbursed for the full amount of your appraisal fee because the time he took to deliver this report has been unacceptable. I am trying to get you close as soon as we can get the underwriter to sign off on the conditions, get you the preliminary Closing Disclosure, and wait 3 days to close. If we get you the Closing Disclosure by no later than Thursday, then we can close Monday. I am pushing this, and told you I would be upfront about everything from the beginning." I delivered with what I had promised I could do, but I cannot control what your perspective is of me, but one thing I am not is a liar. So please next time you write a review, make sure you have proof to back it up and not try to tarnish people's reputation when indeed you were reimbursed $585.
