Stepping in to the bank, I truly believe the lady at the front door should fully acknowledge every customer and ask how she can help. Obviously they need it with one teller and a long line! Last week, I stood in line, to be told by the teller that she will “check me in” to speak to a rep in regards to opening and adding my kids to my account. Why couldn’t the front door lady do that before having me wait to be told to wait? Mind you that day, all they asked for TX IDs and social security cards because they are minors. This morning I addressed the front door lady interrupting her conversation with her colleague and asked if she can check me in rather than waiting for a busy teller to get to me and check me in. Front desk lady said I needed proof of residency. Uh okay, why wasn’t I given a pamphlet with what is needed if bank policies are asking for more than just identification. TX ID is an official document with the same address as my primary checking account. Continued back and forth asking what can a minor use for proof of residency. The final report card with name and address is not acceptable because they need the envelope showing it was mailed to me. Faith also advised me to mail myself something with my daughters name on it. I’ll be able to use that. That’s the stupidest thing ever said to me. What an insult. I called customer service and they confirmed there’s no need for proof of residency for minors. Same Business. Same Rules. What’s the problem here? It will take you about an hour to establish an account for a minor. Literally took them two for us! Front door lady should be directing traffic! Business is business and this location is busy. Parking lot is always jammed pack and so is the motor bank. In need of a serious upgrade! It shouldn’t take all morning for this.
