When my wife and I were ready to make an offer on our first home on a Sunday evening, we ran into a hiccup when we realized that our pre-qualification letter from a local bank had just expired, and the representative we'd been working with was not available. Fortunately, our real estate agent had a contact at Fidelis, who was willing to drop his dinner plans to work with us and allow us to get an offer in that night. Fidelis worked hard to match the rate we'd been offered from the other lender and meet our aggressive timeline, and they always got us fast answers to any of our questions and concerns. The only point of disappointment we had when working with Fidelis was related to a typographical error that their staff made in my email address that resulted in many of our communications being sent to some other person's email. Fidelis assured me that our information was still safe, since an login was needed to access the information and forms being sent, but it was still concerning that the error never got fixed, despite us repeatedly bringing it to the attention of their staff. The typo also led to occasional frustration and confusion, when I was not receiving documents that Fidelis had sent.
