The best swimming beaches in Lake City are located directly before the DNR (Marleys beach)- directly across from the railroad bridge.. features over 100 ft of beach you can walk that takes you right out into the water) and at the very end of Oak street, past the sportsman club (Kumas beach- private, with an abundance of fossils in the exposed limestone) both beaches are dog friendly, please pick up your litter and waste :)
