If I could leave a zero star I would. This company is NOT recommended. I sent info for verification and was offered an approval based on all financial and income sent in. To make a long story short- we went through three different negotiations on 3 different properties and two business days before we were supposed to close and after thousands spent on home inspections- due diligence escrows appraisals etc. the lender contacts me to tell me he assumed the income was a W2 when it was a 1099 and documents were sent DAY 1- but because of the error in his input we essentially were NOT ever approved and his approval and assurance on the lending process is what initially prompted us to enter into negotiations. Ultimately the lender mislead us by failing to do his diligence and follow a systemic approach through verification of our documents and now we are out thousands of dollars from tons of expenses and our family is facing instability with our current house- and this is egregious. I wouldn’t recommend a company that has lenders and other staff that do not thoroughly review your info and issue an approval then just say oops like it’s okay - this is NOT okay and no one in their right mind would go through laying out all this money on negotiating contracts if you’re not properly pre-approved! I have lost money when I thought I was moving my family to a new home in two days! This is unacceptable and it should have avoided in the pre approval process. But having someone who doesn’t do their job professionally nor a company that seems to care will do this to you! To simply say oh I’m sorry about this- I thought the income was W2 is just terrible when you trusted that person to guide you correctly ! Now we are not able to go forward- we lost thousands - we lost our personal property due to quick sale thinking we had to down size for the move, we have to move from where we have lived for 6 years by the first of the month because we had given notice we were moving, we lost so much and for what? Because we trusted Mike Carson when we Gave him documents to review and then he said the entire time we were good and all was well no worries up to 2 days ago! This is just devastating!! Please do not use this company or trust their process! Go somewhere else proven to help! Someplace with honest practices from the beginning- because if this guy cared and looked at the paperwork from the beginning instead of assuming we wouldn’t have lost all we have! What happened to is isn’t right! It would be nice if someone could make it right and refund me all that I have lost in inspections, Escrow monies, due diligence, and losses suffered as a result of this lenders negligence. If the company decides they want to stand by their mottos then they should contact me for a full resolution. Michael Carson has my contact information.
