Cannot begin to describe how displeased I am with my experience trying to obtain a new construction loan through PrimeLending. I had a fantastic experience using PrimeLending when I purchased my first home. However, when we worked with PrimeLending in New York to get a new construction loan to build a home, for FOUR months we were led to believe that we had everything needed to secure the construction loan, only to find out weeks before breaking ground that we could not secure the loan to build. Our rep even admitted she had made mistakes during the process but at the end of the day, PrimeLending could do nothing to help us, even though they were at fault for us being in this position. If you're looking for new construction, look elsewhere or make sure you work with someone who knows what they're doing and ask questions.
