I bought my home using patriot, from a recommendation from a realtor. This company has been nothing but a nightmare. I was promised a 30 day close (my offer was accepted with a 30 day close condition instead of a 45 day) and that deadline was missed by about a week and a half. The ball was dropped on numerous occasions and my loan officer seemed to cop an attitude when I asked questions. After finally closing, and making my first mortgage payment, I received a past due letter from PHFA today. Just when I thought I was done with Patriot for good, nope. One more final kick in the gut. I'm now waiting for a return call or email. Which, if my past experience is any indication, won't come until I call the office again tomorrow afternoon. Use LITERALLY any other company.
