Danielle is amazing at what she does! She is one of the most professional people I've ever met. She is committed to excellency, and she focuses on her clients. There's no room for misunderstandings or confusion with her. She is crystal clear in her explanations and doesn't mind going over them several times until she's certain her clients are properly informed and know exactly what to do. Requesting a loan and buying a home is no joke and the majority of people - like myself- know very little of the matter. I had several friends going through the same process at the same time I was, but they had other mortgage brokers. We shared stories, and I couldn't help but to be grateful for choosing Danielle. Working with her felt so legit because everything was straightforward until the very end. She was even present at closing to ensure perfection, and she worked around my specific situation to make everything work. She would not try to make you fit into anyone else's shoes or situation. She will work with what you've got and will get you the best deal you can get with that. If it isn't obvious by now, I'd absolutely recommend Danielle to everyone who is planning on buying a home.

I recently sold my home in Florida and Hometown Mortgage was the lender for my buyer. As a Realtor myself I am VERY familiar with the process and I do NOT recommend this company at all. Their underwriting department held things up costing me money for over a week. When the closing attorney would call they either would not return his phone calls, or when they did return the call they would inform him that my transaction had a time slot of example 2pm and that they would look at it at that time, but would not make any exceptions at all to try and expedite things. The appraiser did not do his job by not adding all parcels of land with my home therefor underwriting wanted him to go back, this is very understandable, this was drug out over and over only to find out the underwriters would allow the appraiser to just write in the added amount for the additional land. I was charged a 300.00 mail out fee which is ridiculous as I was not going to be present for the signing. I had to have a mail out THREE times due to this underwriting department. It is not like me to give anyone a negative review, but the public needs to make informed choices. We have Hometown Mortgage here locally and I have not done a transaction with them as of yet, but if this is how you all do business I will NOT reccomend any of my buyers use Hometown Mortgage and as I am from Florida and still have a lot of family and friends there I will make sure that they do not use this service either. Shame on you Hometown Mortgage, with so many lenders currently you should truly care more about customer service and at the very least communciating with others involved in your transaction. I am left wondering if you all work off salary instead of comission as there was no urgency in closing my deal and you cost me money daily as we waited for your underwriting department. I am very unhappy with your lack of service.
