Horrible experience! Was assigned to Marc Cartisano who treated me as an inconvenience instead of a paying customer. He was incredibly rude and condescending in all our transactions. He would not respond to my emails and even cancelled an appt we had 30mins prior. I was so frustrated by the whole experience that I had to look elsewhere and find another loan officer who accomplished in 20mins what Marc couldn’t even have done in 3 weeks. Every phone call he would come up with excuses why he wasn’t working on my case. I did not feel like I was kept informed throughout any of the process and even when I requested to meet with him he did not try to accommodate me. I told him I had a lot of questions as a first time home buyer and he mocked me for it. I don’t know if he has a problem with women or what but I could not believe how horribly I was treated. Would not recommend. Update: I received an email that “customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance to Freedom Mortgage and they will be reaching out to me in the next two days”.... well it’s been two weeks now and no one followed up with me or reached out to me. Clearly customer satisfaction is VERY important to Freedom Mortgage lol!
