My wife was led to believe she was eligible for a $130,000 loan we supplied element with everything they asked for in a very timely manner! The company had internal personnel problems which our paperwork was not processed in a timely manner forcing our closing date to be pushed further up from(May 22/2019) to (May 29,2019). ( they pride themselves on never missing closing dates?) We put a $1,000 honest money on a home after carefully looking for 3+ weeks and 20+ houses we paid $475 for a home inspection we were told we needed at the time and could only use their inspector! Then we finally had to have the appraisal which was almost another $500! Only to be told (2) days before our new closing date that she was not qualified because of a shortage of about $400 dollars or so in her income! We submitted paperwork and check stubbs before we even started looking for homes with element! So were out of $2,000 of our hard earned money! My wife is a working senior citizen and was treated in my opinion as just another cash cow for their inspectors! Because of their slow-full responses to our requests for awnser’s to our questions and our paperwork ,we lost our honest money ($1,000). Be very careful and aware of whom and all your dealings with this company! Buyer be Aware!
