Pretty park but BEWARE of ticks. Literally my husband and I were each covered with more than a hundred tiny ticks which were super annoying to remove. I had to change immediately out of my clothes because they were crawling all over my pants. Luckily we had tape in the car to aid us but it was really frustrating - and itchy. Dog seemed pretty itchy too but hopefully whatever bit him died since he’s on anti tick medication - they were so small I could not find them on him.

Very impressed! Right next to the rest stop, this location has lots of hiking and fishing opportunities. The hiking is probably perfect for stretching your legs on a long road trip. There are several different offshoots and small deviations you can take to mix it up even if you've already been there once.
