Our experience with Jordan Yapp has been excruciatingly painful. We were told weeks ago that our VA loan was in order. Now weeks before we close on the home he says oops sorry the VA won't guarantee the loan because of an issue on your credit. One would think this would have come up when they did the credit report in July before we committed to this sale. I have paid a $400 commitment fee and paid $500 in deposit already. Then not explaining clearly what he was doing, he wrote the loan $5k over the asking price to cover closing costs. After the sellers agreed to pay the $5K in closing costs. Very deceptive! If I had known this I would never have agreed. Not to mention our payment estimates have changed 4 times in the course of a few weeks. From $1200 to 1300 to 1400 then finally 1500 back to 1200. How does that happen? This isn't my first home purchase so this is absolutely unbelievable! A lender rep who doesn't know how much mortgage pmts are, doesn't do his due diligence in covering all bases on our credit report in the beginning as to not waste ours and the sellers time! Then when questioned hems and haws on answers, doesn't clarify his actions, and takes forever to get return calls. I have actually called and emailed this person and he never returned my calls or emails. I had to have my husband call until he could get in contact with him. I hope this review helps someone else who is considering using Jordan as a rep. Don't do it!
