Eric repeatedly quoted me the wrong amount needed for closing. The day before closing I contacted the title company to verify how much $$ I needed for closing. They informed me that according to the paperwork Eric sent over I needed Several thousand $$ more to close. Needless to say we had to postpone our closing to find this money. We ended up having to cash out our daughters wedding fund in order to close. Eric was on vacation but was contacted by our Realtor. Eric informed him he was on top of it and would call back. Well, we closed 4 months ago and have yet to hear from Eric. Eric informed our Realtor that the difference was in the amount we quoted him for home insurance. Yes, it ended up being double but going from $600 to $1200 per year does not equal the thousands we took from our daughters wedding. Again, despite the several requests of our Realtor to have Eric call us nothing has happened, not even an apology. Giving one star on this rating is a gift it wasn't earned. I would never use Academy Mortgage or Eric again and strongly urge others to avoid him as well.

Eric did a great job at assisting and explaining the process. Due to uncontrollable circumstances of our loan processor changing jobs in the middle of our application our loan was delayed in processing. Tammy, our new loan processor did amazing to get us back on the right direction!
