The rooms are clean and spacious, with a beautifully rustic design. Each room is unique in its aesthetic and they are all lovely, especially the newlywed suite. The common areas are also gorgeous, particularly the dining area where breakfast is served in the mornings. Jen and Dave are fantastic cooks, and incredibly gracious hosts. The spread they put out in the mornings is very impressive. They are incredibly friendly from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, and are truly knowledgeable of the local sites and attractions, and are eager to help you find things to do in your spare time staying with them. There is a lovely porch area with a dining table and bench swing, which is very relaxing and romantic, particularly in the evening. There is also a tree in the yard with a swing and a lot of beautiful foliage, it’s a perfect spot for events such as weddings, anniversaries, reunions, etc. They have some very friendly pets including Bogart the English Bulldog, Birdie the French Bulldog, Gunther the pig, and several chickens (two of which are Silky Chickens and they’re lovely) who are around if you’d like to meet them, but are also kept separate from the guest living areas out of courtesy. The building is kept in beautiful condition, and they have a/c units in every bedroom window as well as heating vents with in-room thermostats so you will be comfortable no matter the season. The bathrooms come with your typical amenities (e.g. shampoo, conditioner, body wash) as well as some extras (like makeup wipes). The beds are large and very comfortable! Not a single bad thing to say about this place, we very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to everyone we know!

The rave reviews are all for a good reason. Can’t say enough about the 18th century home, beautiful job taking this space and making it very cozy. Must say it would be nice for the home itself but it’s Jen that makes it great. Excellent host and she knows how to work with your food proclivities and whip a fist rate breakfast. Our second visit for the Annual Comedy Fest at Mass MoCA. Looking forward to our next visit!
