Early last year, we considered more than one financial institution to handle our construction and permanent financing needs, including our own bank. After speaking at length several times with John Cortissoz, we decided to put our trust in SWBC, specifically John and his team. This was our third mortgage and second custom home build, so although we were not entirely new to this process, we were not especially looking forward to the financing aspect, as it can be somewhat overwhelming in terms of the endless requests to provide documentation, etc. In our opinion, our financing couldn't have gone any smoother.
