Terrible experience. First they improperly calculated a debt to income ratio. Then they drag the process on for three months, charging fees and ordering an appraisal and when it gets rejected by underwriting, I am told it's being resubmitted, without explanation of what is different now from then. No return phone calls for weeks, no return emails. Total ineptitude and lack of communication. I am out twelve hundred dollars for appraisal and property inspection fees that should never have been incurred in the first place if they had just done their job right from the get go. And I had to finally cancel a deal after all those months of being led on. Not upset about the denial, but I am upset over their failure to properly appraise my ability to get a loan and causing me to incur the twelve hundred dollars in expenses because of it. And the seller on the deal has lost out on the ability to re-list the property sooner. Just not a good way to do business.
