Dan has been incredibly helpful throughout the home buying process. I first met Dan two years ago when I started to get serious about the home buying process. He took a look at where I was financially and offered solid advice as to what I needed to do in order to get a more competitive pre-qualification amount for the SoCal housing market. Fast forward two years, and we reconnected during an interesting time. I had my first offer accepted in Feb of 2008 - Dan was my lender, and the deal looked too good to be true. As luck would have it, the seller changed his mind and decided not to sell the property and backed out of the deal. It took another 7 months to get an offer accepted, and by that time the interest rates had shot up an whole 1%. With that big of a change, Dan did everything he could to secure me the lowest rate possible and lock it in for the entire duration of the escrow process. He understood my financial situation and encouraged me to look at other lenders to make sure I got the best deal, he was so open and understanding of his business - he told me since he locked in his rate then I could shop around and try to find something better, and if I did find something better then its no hard feelings and I should definitely go with that lender. Needless to say, he was right about the rates going up again and no one came close to the rate he had locked in for me. Dan was always great about answering all of my questions, and was always easy to get a hold of. If you're looking a lender, I highly recommend Dan!
