Old Saybrook Center is a community [1] and census-designated place (CDP) in Old Saybrook, a town in Middlesex County, Connecticut, United States. The population was 1,962 at the 2000 census. The CDP includes the traditional town center and the peninsula known as Saybrook Point.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.9 square miles (7.5 km2), of which, 2.0 square miles (5.1 km2) of it is land and 0.9 square miles (2.4 km2) of it (32.07%) is water.
