Francesville is a town in Salem Township, Pulaski County, in the U.S. state of Indiana.[6] The population was 879 at the 2010 census.

Francesville was founded in 1853 when the railroad was extended to that point.[7] The town was named for Frances Brooks, the daughter of a railroad official.[7] A post office has been in operation at Francesville since 1853.[8]
