I had heard about Steven after I had started working with another lender so I reached out to see if he could help me get a lower rate, he is local to me so I preferred helping the local businesses. Steven said he could get 3.25% or 3.375% if I used him and he personally promised he would deliver these rates without any points. I had already gone through the mess of fielding calls and receiving quotes from Lending Tree and I never saw anything that low so it made me a bit weary. I had received my closing documents from my other lender but Steven and I continued to text, and the guarantees continued. Before I walked away from my deal for something that seemed too good to be true, I reached out to another Lender with Landmark Bank and was told that lowest rate Landmark had available to me was in fact 3.625% which I had already had with my other Lender. After having my suspicions confirmed I obviously ran for the hills, this is just another Lender who is looking to draw people in ultimately to change everything. Steven is a bait and switch lender so cross check what he gives you before you sign any papers!
