I did not come here on retreat, so I can't speak to this aspect. I can say that the grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The peacocks are at home and wonderful. The pecans for sale are super fresh and delicious! The grounds would be great for a retreat, and I hope to get that opportunity some day. It's a nice place to just drop-by, as the staff is friendly. I recommend the pecans!

The Monastery is a beautiful, peaceful place. The book store and gift shop has so many items to choose from and their baked goods are absolutely delicious!
