My first home buying experience could not have gone better without the help of Jack Shull and his team. Buying a home from what I have always heard is usually a strenuous process. However, these team made it about as easy as buying a car. I would highly recommend.

If I could leave a zero star I would. I was dealing with Guild since January of 2018 on a home loan. We are about 30 days from closing and I called to find out what steps were. My loan officer seamed confused and couldn’t remember the closing date. When I went in to sign papers she said “nice to finally meet you” we had met back in January. I called once a month to update my status and make sure everything was a go for the loan. Last week on Thursday when I went in she told me we had a problem. Nothing has changed in my financial situation from January till now. This entire time I was assured all was ok. I leave with assurances she would make it work. At 5pm I get a call saying she couldn’t make it happen. At 10:45 that night I get a text saying how it could work. Basically double my down payment and a few other things. Talk about being completely blindsided. They didn’t even offer any solutions or figure out what a more realistic mortgage amount would have been. I went to another lender Friday morning and received more honest info in 45 minutes than I did in 6 months with Guild. I will never use this lender for anything nor would I ever give them a good recommendation. If you are looking for a mortgage please go elsewhere and save your time and headaches.
