I heard an ad on talk radio for Lendplicity and made an impulse call. The representative who took my call listened carefully to my particular situation. Because there are several atypical factors concerning my current loan that had to do with the deed, the rep conceded that he needed to bring in another person to make sure I would get the right advice. I cannot express how his one act created so much trust for me---I have had too many situations where the person I am speaking with actually does not know what they are doing, but will act like they do, and then try to guide me anyway and many times get me in a worse situation, rather than yielding to someone with experience. I have done re-fi's in the past and this was not too different in that the lender requires a ton of documents. I realize no one can get around that, but the treatment I received by all persons involved at Lendplicity was top-notch and made their document-gathering process much better. Plus they provided me with a cloud-based folder to upload my documents. And every single one of my questions was answered to my complete satisfaction. So where the process is pretty much the same across lenders, the service here was stellar. At one point after I had been working with Lendplicity for awhile, I told my rep I heard an advertisement offering what sounded like better terms. He explained how the various buy-downs work, and that the lenders are constantly revising the terms they can offer. I chose to buy down my points a bit as that was the best fit for me. I locked in a very nice interest rate and am extremely pleased with the overall process I had with Lendplicity.
