Due to the most recent storm 2018 we had in NC my payment was received late and I was charged a late fee while other places were considerate to NC customers and didn’t hold them accountable for payments arriving late. That’s understandable due to the impact of the storm in our area.... However I had to call in to have the late fees removed. Fast forward a few months later ( Christmas/dec mth) my payment arrived 1 day late ( my official first late payment) and these ppl are saying because they removed the first late charge, I am not eligible for this one to be removed. Even after explaining the cause of the first one was no fault of mines they still are holding it against me.... seriously no compassion, it’s not like I am habitual late in my payment.... I will have to reconsider and do business with another mortgage company... I think this is rediculous.
