Went with a client to cash a check for $13,000 that was drawn on this bank - 30 mi drive. The bank required a driver's license to cash the check and my client didn't have it with him. Client got his driver's license renewed and my office called to confirm that only a driver's license and birth certificate were necessary to cash the check, as to prevent another unnecessary drive. My office was told both would suffice. My client goes today only to be told his driver's license doesn't reflect his social security number and is not acceptable? What?! KS driver's licenses haven't reflected a social security number in years. Needless to say my client is still without his $13,000. Now to file for a replacement social security card. During this entire process, my client, myself and my secretary were treated very rudely by the head teller. Best of luck in your dealings with this bank.
