We have lived in 10 different states in the past 12 years. We feel so blessed to be near Drexel Veterinary Clinic. Everyone should be so blessed!! You will not be disappointed....cross my heart!

My dog was hit by a Car and was in shock. I called the Drexel veterinary clinic because they were the closest to me at the time and I did not know if he would make it to my regular clinic (where I work). When the receptionist answered the phone I was greeted by an extremely rude and obviously annoyed woman who had no problem expressing her bad day. (Seems like only one of many reading some of these other reviews). When I explained the situation she asked why I did not take him to my regular veterinarian. After I had already explained. She then made an annoyed noise and begrudgingly said ok, bring him in. The rudest tone of voice. The most horrible attitude I've ever encountered. Especially in a field that is built on compassion and empathy. I understand that they are not an emergency vet, but even had she needed to turn me down she should absolutely not have the attitude that she did. As soon as I started speaking with her and realized that she would rather have my baby die than have to see us on a bad day I hung up, turned around and headed to Bates County Animal Clinic. They were more than happy to save his life and someone even rushed out to my car and helped carry him in. Drexel I would say it is time to start terminating your rude front desk employees and start looking for some empathetic, friendly, and pleasant receptionists. They are the voice for your clinic, and it wasn't sounding very good to me.
