    Mesick is a village in Springville Township, Wexford County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 394 at the 2010 census.

    Mesick was founded and platted by a local sawmill owner named Howard Mesick in 1890. The first post office was established on January 9, 1891, with Henry N. Brooks as the first postmaster. It remained in operation until 1966. Mesick was incorporated into a village in 1902. By this time, the village had four churches and a library. [6] [7]
